The Neotropical Network of Palm Scientists is a group created to facilitate an exchange among people from different backgrounds that share the common interest of researching palms (Arecaceae) along the Americas. We hope to gather and estimulate a diverse community of palm scientists interested in further developing research on American palms and in establishing fruitful collaborations.
The network has been created in 2021 and is a initiative of four female Brazilian scientists, Rita Portela, Thaise Emilio, Caroline Dracxler and Cíntia Freitas. |
